Christians and God's Holy Law

Thesis: Are Christian believers under, above or equal to the Holy Law of God?

Text. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 I. If Christian are under the Holy Law of God

Then the power of the Cross of Christ had no effect in the change of the spiritual status of a Christian. The christian is still lost in his sinfulness. If the christian is convinced that he is still lost in his sins, then Jesus's sacrifice on the cross was in vain.

The whole purpose of Jesus dying on the cross was to destroy the power of sinfulness in the lives of Christians. So what serves the Law of God? It only serves as an instructor to those who without Christ seek to live according to its requirements, allowing it to point out the adherents sinfulness and exhibiting God's righteous will.

So if Christians are under the authority of the Holy law of God, then each christian must earn his own salvation according the just requirements of the Law. The Bible states that no man can be justified by keeping the law. So Christians can not be under the Law, because their justification does not come from keeping the Law, but by faith in the resurrection of Christ.

II. If Christians are above the Law of God...

Then what is the usefulness of the Holy Law of God? Did God waste his time in creating a law that would not be observable or enforceable? How would God convince and convict each person of his own sinfulness outside the provision of his matchless salvation? Who could God persuade to live a holy life? If a man has no knowledge of the degree of depravity of his own sinfulness, how can a person become convinced and convicted of it? Where there is no law to correct a man of his transgressions against God, there lies no judgment against a man's sinful actions.

If this be true, then it follows that the necessity of Christ's Sacrifice was in vain and without purpose. Jesus was born to save men from their sins, but if there is no transgressions because the Holy Law that would judge them is now of none effect because without any law you can not have a transgression. The power of the transgression is the Law.

Since Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law of God, what governs us now who believe? The text clearly illustrates that believers in Christ are no longer under the Holy Law. Christ by his death on the Cross, by his own shed blood, blotted out all the ordinances (laws) that were against us.(Colossians 2:14) I ask again what constrains us, who believe in Christ from ever sinning again? I suggest two things God grace and God's power. God removed the Holy Law that was not observable nor enforceable by any one and put in its place the power of his Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4) Being a wise and just God he has also given us Grace because it is going to take time for each of us to adjust to His Holy Spirit living inside of every one who believes in Christ Jesus. He knew that we would not come out of our sinful behavior easily, but as each of us surrenders to the power of His Holy Spirit that is alive in each one who believes in Christ, we become more and more sinless everyday. (2 Corinthians 4:7,16,5:11-17) We have this treasure, the power of God's Holy Spirit, hidden in earthen vessels ( our bodies, our flesh) that no matter what we go through in this life, we believers in Christ have the power to endure, out last and overcome if we hold on to the hope of the promise of God in Christ Jesus that is laid out in his divine plan and will before us.

So to conclude we are neither above or under the Law of God who believe in Christ Jesus for we are now are new creatures in Christ governed not by an unenforceable Law but by the power of the Spirit of God. To quote the Apostle Paul " If ye then be led (governed) by the Spirit of God, ye are no longer under the Law" (Galatians 5:18)

III. Are Christians equal to the holy Law of God?

-If Christians are equal to the Law of God, a few things must be established.

One; the righteousness of obedient and submitted to the Spiirit of God Christians must be an extention of God's righteousness in Christ Jesus. Thusly the role of the Holy Law of God moves from the role of that being our instructor to that of an Advisor. What is the difference? An Instructor points out errors in a given action, then teaches how that action ought to be done correctly. Also an instructor when not obeyed by the student is punished according to the level of disobedience. An advisor warns you of the errant action before you commit it. If you make the mistake of not following its advise, the advisor will counsel you out of the mess you got yourself in. An advisor will give you direction but, it is up to you to follow the direction it advises that you take. So it is with Christians, who have the understanding that they are not married to the Holy Law of God any longer, but find the Holy Law beneficial in that it gives guidance it areas of question. So that every christian may continue to grow in the grace that was provided by God through Christ.

Two; We have been made through Christ the righteousness of God. (Romans 5:19; 2 Corinthians 5:21) Since the Law is Holy, good and just (Romans7:12) and every Christian has been made the righteousness of God in Christ. The Holy Law has no power over the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Since this be true, should we believers disgrace the righteousness of God so willingly provided by the Sovereign Lord of all Creation out of love for mankind? No. Rather we should strive to live as Holy as He is Holy, be as righteous as He is righteous, be just as He is just and most of all loving as He is loving. Did God give us his Holy Spirit so that we may remain in bondage to our sinfulness? No. He gave us His Holy Spirit so that we can now live in the righteousness of God,

Three; Now the question is, does this righteousness that God has provided in Christ continue with us if we practice sin? No. Anyone who names the name of Christ as his saviour and continues in sin, does not know who and what he is in God. What do you think will be the judgement of those who run the righteousness of a Holy God into the filth of sin? The bible says that if the righteous will be scarcely saved, where will the wicked and sinner appear? Be not decieved God is not mocked whatsoever a man sows that he will also reap. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If a man who calls himself a believer in Christ and choses to continue in sin, he is blinded by the sin that posseses him. In that he cannot see the benefit and the pleasure in living in the will and righteousness of God. Let not that one person believe that he will be blessed by God, except to draw him out from his sinfulness and into a life of righteousness in God, lest his self deception will taint a whole community of potential believers who witnesses his hypocrisy and assign it to the futility of the power of God. My last point is that for those who walk after the flesh after experiencing the power of Spirit of God, they will remain under an instructor untill they learn who and what they are in Christ and what God has done for them. Even in their most carnal state, God will save them through Christ, for Christ saves to the uttermost.

Testimony: I know a man, a friend of mine, which I met in a homeless shelter. This man confessed Christ but was in bondage to drugs. I watched as his finacee prayed for their deliverance. One day he approach me in the shelter and asked me how could I remain holy when everything you worked for was taken from you. I told him that I learned that the definition of my life in Christ is not measured by God by the things I posses but by the faith I have in his deliverance power. That my present does not define my future. Soon after that God provided a way for me to leave the homeless shelter but in his full view. Soon after that I was restored to ministry and to a level of prosperity that I once enjoyed. He became a disciple of Christ and truly surendered to God. God lifted him out of homelessness shortly there after and delivered him and his now wife of their addiction problem. He is now growing in ministry enjoying a level of prosperity he never enjoyed before in God. Why? Because he found out who he was and what he was in Christ. That his present condition does not define his future. Most of all he found out that Grace does not allow you to stay in sin, for it is God giving you time to get it right.

Principles of Recovery 5a: Profiles of Recovery

The following is some biblical profiles of recovery, where certain biblical characters suffered social and economic loss, but through faith they recovered.

Joseph son of Israel

Due to the jealousy of his brothers, was thrown into a pit, then sold into slavery.  During his servitude in Egypt, he was falsely accused and thrown into jail.  He recovered from his social and economic loss because of his unwavering faith in God's plan for his life.  God gave him the ability to interpret dreams and he used that talent to free himself from jail.  He interpreted the dream of a butler of the Pharaoh of Egypt who was in the same jail cell with Him.  Whom he told that the Butler will be restored to his post.  He asked the butler to remember him, but the butler did not remember him until the Pharaoh of Egypt had a nightmare and the wise men of Egypt could not interpret it.  It was then the Butler told Pharaoh about Joseph and how he correctly interpreted his dream.  Out of desperation the Pharaoh of Egypt summoned for Joseph.  When Joseph heard what the Pharaoh dreamed, he interpreted that Egypt will enjoy 7 years of plenty followed by 7 years of lack and the years of lack will make the years of plenty look like nothing.  Pharaoh the asked Joseph what he should do.  Joseph advised Pharaoh to store up and ration out in the years of plenty and continue to ration out food in the years of lack.  Pharaoh was so impressed with his wisdom that he made Joseph second in command to himself over all Egypt.  To oversee the storing and the distribution of the all the food in Egypt.  Joseph went from being alienated from his family to the Secretary of State of all of Egypt.  Joseph used his talent and unwavering faith in God to accomplish this recovery.  It may not been what he thought it would be, but all things work for his good because he was called to save not only the nation of Egypt from famine, but also the family of Israel. (Genesis 37:5-39, chapters 39,40 and 41:1-45)

Job of the land of Uz

Due to no cause of his own, he suffered economic and social loss.  He lost property, his home and his family. On top of that he was afflicted with a severe skin disease. During his suffering, he sat on a dung heap while his so called neighbors and friends tried to figure out why Job suffered so.  They gave him no encouragement whatsoever.  Job justified himself before his friends and he did not give up on his faith.  Now the one thing he did do was to not justify God for allowing him to suffer when he did nothing wrong.  It was until God himself spoke to Job and corrected him, God was testing him and had the right to do so.  When Job received the revelation from God about his own misunderstanding about God and repented from it. God rewarded Job with twice the wealth he had before he suffered. (the book of Job)

David the son of Jesse

Before he became King of Israel, during one of his patrols along the Philistine and Amalakite border.  The Amalakites came and raided his camp,  took his men wives and his wives captive as well as their property.  When David and his men returned to camp and found it burnt to the ground and everything gone, his men started to speak against David.  David was deeply discouraged.  What did David do?  He did not give up on his faith in God, he encouraged himself and turned to the Lord for guidance and direction.  The Lord instructed him to pursue, overtake and recover all.  That is what David did, he and his men followed after the Amalakites, overtook them and recovered all that was taken from the camp. (1 Samuel 30:1-19)

The one thing theme that runs through all these profiles is the fact that not one of them gave up on their faith in God.  So having faith in God is critical to your recovery.

The Maximums and Proverbs of Rev. C. R. Sanchez

The following are wise words that I have learned or heard, they are bible and Christian based.  They are not scripture nor are they submitted as scripture.  Any of them can be used for a sermon.  As I learn new ones from the word, or any other Christian source. I will modify this blog post to reflect the addition.

Proverbs & Maximuns of Rev. C. R. Sanchez

Where you are is never where you will be, and where you will be is determined by the choices you make where you are.

The cow that you feed the most will give you the most milk.

If you know how to ask for a thing, you know how you will receive a thing.

If you spend your time doing what you need to do, you will have time to do the things you want to do. Time for play is time earned.

The only place when pleasure comes before work is in the dictionary

Life is full of atrition, do good long enough, and as much of it as you can, you will overcome the bad things of life  and good things will come to you.

The quality of an individual's life is determined by the quality of the choices that individual makes

The end of one episode of reality for an individual is the beginning of another episode of reality.

Nothing of this earth lasts forever, everything passes with time. Except for God and everything he has said.

No matter what your status is in life, you are given the same 24 hours as anyone else. How are you investing your time?

The commitment to change is the result of discovering the revelation of the worthlessness of continuing in the present reality and the engagement in the profitability of an opportunity in a new reality.

Words are thoughts, words are seeds, words make mental pictures. So be careful of what words you say and what seeds are planted in the minds of the hearers.

A fruit does not look like the seed from whence it comes. It never does. So be careful what seeds you plant in others.

The edvidence of God is His word, the proof of the existence of God is contained in His creations, the intelligence of God is contained in His wisdom and His design of all living things.

Whatsoever you hear and believe, you accept and receive, will be the seed that will yeild the fruit in your life. So pay attention.

See a person happy in his work, it is the gift of God for him.

Success is defined when opportunity meets wisdom and produces the desired result.

If Leadership is influence, the greater the influence , the greater the capacity and responsiblity to lead.

Always make your goals a little higher that your ability to reach them, for when you attain your goals you would have grown in knowledge and wisdom.

Confidence in doing a task comes from the knowledge and familiarity of completing the task.

Tell a story and teach a lesson, repeat the lesson and make it a practice, be successful at the practice and graduate to the next level.

Communictation, the quality of it, is the basis of a quality relationship in all areas and arenas of life.

Wast time and life will reward you harshly

Change is the challenge of revinvention, redirection and renewal

Perception is what people really think you are, but it should never define who you really are.

Leadership should welcome constructive feedback from the team players, as long as it works to acheive the results desired of the team.

Success evokes inspiration in some, hopefulness in others as well as envy and jealousy in others.

Time is a tool if you use it as such, Time is a task if it uses you. How are you using your time?

Leadership is the influence that challenges an individual or a group of individuals to change direction on a given course in the face of a crisis.

Teach and be taught, listen and learn, each one teach one, and  wisdom we will all earn.

Like a rock that is dropped in a still pond, so is a life that has realized its influence on the world.

Get in the game, be a player and not a spectator. It is the players that win games. Spectators just want to see what happens next.

To find the right opportunity , you must seek it without prejudice, for it may be where you least expect it to be.

Keep in mind, to much is given, much will be required. Every priviledge, every comfort you desire comes with the price of responsibility.

90% of preparation =100% of presentation. How well have you prepared yourself for the challenges of life?

A wise man knows how to dispense knowledge, A fool just tells everything irreguardless of the damage it will cause.

1 degree of variation in the course of your life will land you in a place you never expected to be.

In order to defend yourself from the unthinkable, the unrestricted, the unknowable and hopelessness. Think rather of the impossible, explore the limits of the possible and educate yourself by which you will supply hope to yourself and others.

Knowledge is power, Truth is liberating, Love is sacrificing, Faith is visionary, Wisdom is building, these are the ingedients of an effective life upon the world.

Trust is the foundation of the qualtiy of communication in every relationship, lose trust and the quality of communication falters and any relationship begins to fail.

Having an attitude is cautaigious, is yours worth catching?

Learn all you can and keep in store all that you have learned, you never know what would be more useful in your future.

Educate your mind, expand your horizions, the more you know the more you can overcome.

Every one is selling something, what are you buying?

To maintain a healty relationship, you must maintain a high quality level of communication. To maintain a high level of communication, you must continue to build trust. To continue to build trust you must be honest with your principal partner. Once the honesty in your principle partner in a relationship is in doubt, trust is lost and can not continue to build and the communication falters and the relationship begins to fail.

If you decree a thing and believe it will come to pass, believe it will come, but you must call for it.  When you call a specific child, do you say hey boy come here? No you call for the child by his name and he comes.  So also the things you believe and deree you must also call for it by its name and it will come.

The worst kind of deception is self deception, that is believing something to be true when it is not.  So it is vitally immportant to make sure of your facts and eliminate all fiction when the burden of truth determines all that you do.

Truth plays no favorites, it can qualify a person for favor and it can condemn a person to punishment.

Honesty and truth are two different things. For a person  may be Honestly deceptive,  or a person can be  truthfully dishonest.  How? Through the ignorance of the facts of his story, a person may honestly report something to be true when it is not.

When honesty and truth is presented together, thier influence can sway the balance of a person's judgment if he beilieves it.  If a person  choses to not believe the presentation of truth  done  in all honesty.  That person will suffer the consequences of his decision.

Nothing worthwhile comes without some struggle to obtain it

When a person makes up his mind, he defines the direction to his destiny

If you call for it, it will come whether it be good or bad

The environment does not make the individual, the choices an individual makes can change himself or his environment

If confidence in oneself is like a blank check, then where have you been cashing your checks and for what purpose?

A person reaches maturity  when he chooses to be accountable and responsible for his words and actions.

The Question of the Divinity of Jesus

There are some people who have a hard time grappling with the concept of the divinity of Jesus.  They  can not accept that Jesus is God, and believe that the concept that Jesus is God was an invention of the early Church to promote their religion.  They ask, "How can Jesus be God and man? Is Jesus another separate God from God the Creator?" "Is there a logical explanation that can allow a person to understand how Jesus is God?" Against many persons belief, yes there is.

Now Jesus was born without the aid of a human male, he took on some of the traits of His natural Father, who was God.  Now since He was a first born Son he has the birthright given to Him of His Father. This was a legally accepted practice in Israel, so the first born son inherited all the power, property and authority of his father.  Jesus was God's naturally first born Son.  You don't have to take my word for it for the prophets of the Bible did not lie about the divinity of Jesus, when they spoke of the Messiah to come. What follows is just a sampling of prophecies that Jesus fulfilled.

11.      That he was to be born without the aid of a human male- Genesis 3:15
22.      That he would be God’s Son- Psalms 2:7; 1 Chronicles17:11-14; 2 Samuel 7:12-16
43.      That his name would be  Immanuel = God is with us- Isaiah 7:14
9

The bible says "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." - Jesus, the Christ (John 5:39)

The prophets of the Bible that prophesied about Jesus being divinely conceived and taking on the title of being God's son.  These prophets were Moses, Samuel and Isaiah. These prophets are very credible witnesses but they were all looking forward to the day of Jesus' birth.  Many of their prophecies came to pass and some are still being fulfilled up to our time.  Jesus alone fulfilled those prophecies that spoke about God having a son. For Jesus claimed to be God's Son. ( John 10:34-36)  Now Jesus was the only one born without the aid of a human male that God also claimed as his own son. (Matthew 3:17, 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35; 2 Peter 1:17) This is significant, because as stated before, the first male born son in Israel to any family inherits all rights, property and authority of his Father.  Since Jesus was not born by the aid of a human male, that eliminates any inheritance from his stepfather, Joseph. Therefore, Jesus' inheritance came straight from His Heavenly Father.  This why Jesus could say,  "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:.......And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.(John 5:22+27) For his inheritance included the power to execute judgement upon the earth, a power that only God, the creator has at his disposal.  This power to execute judgment was given to him from birth so every directive, principle He spoke becomes what we have to obey and live under.  The religious leaders failed to recognize this and accused Jesus of blasphemy, a crime according to the Law that is punishable by death.  They, the religious leaders of the day,  told the people that Jesus was a son of a Samaritan and was adopted by Joseph of the house of David, that he was possessed by the devil himself and by that authority Jesus cast out devils. (John 8:48)  None of this was true, but because it came from the religious leaders of the community, many felt that they  had to believe their testimony of who Jesus is or risk being thrown  out of the community.  (John 9:13-38 [vs 18-23])

Those who bravely believed Jesus who he said he was were alienated from the community and became members of the believers that followed after Jesus. (John 9:24-38; 12:19) The point is if Jesus did not prove who he said He was, then why did many follow after Him and His Disciples? Jesus must have given some evidence to his divine relationship with the Creator of the Universe. He did provide evidence through the miracles and signs he performed and presented them to those, who accused him being nothing more that a blessed devil who is a Sabbath breaker, as proof of his divine connection  with the God of the Universe (John 10:23-25) Despite their efforts Jesus still spoke, taught and stated that God was His Father even after his death and resurrection.

Now God raised Jesus up after the religious leaders and the Romans crucified Jesus,  sealed the tomb in which he was buried and requested a Roman Guard to watch the tomb to make sure that He did not keep his word. When that failed they paid the Roman Guard to report that the disciples came and stolen away the body of Jesus. (Matthew 27:62-66; 28:11-15) The point here is if Jesus was not who he said he was, what need was there to set a Guard over the tomb in the first place? To ensure that the Disciples would not steal his body? Furthermore, why pay the Roman Guard to report that the Disciples came and stolen away the body of Jesus?  If Jesus did not have the power to be raised from the dead, none of these actions would have been necessary, but because of Jesus promise that He would rise from the dead and the many other un-explainable miracles Jesus performed during his 3 year ministry upon the earth in Israel that they themselves have seen and heard of, the religious leaders of the day had Jesus crucified and buried. They sealed the tomb, because if Jesus stayed dead, then Jesus would have been another dead false prophet and all their actions would have been justified. However, they did not expect God, the father to raise up Jesus from the dead. God, the father,  raised Jesus up from the dead because he was innocent of the charge of blasphemy, for Jesus was who he said he was: the Son of God. Also the Law of God that was suppose to judge the sin of sinners, condemned an innocent righteous godly man through the manipulation of the religious leadership of the day. So God, the Father raised Jesus, the Son of God from the dead because God is not dead nor can be put to death and Jesus was very much apart of God. Consider this,  If God allowed Jesus to remain dead, then all the prophecies that the prophets foretold about Jesus in the name of God, the creator, would have been a lie.  God does not lie, so Jesus had to rise.  Now by Jesus dying,  the Son of God, put out of legal effect the Law of God and reconciled all men to God by reason of His relationship to God.  That those who believe in Christ as the Son of God and in his sacrifice for their sins, those who accepted Jesus as God can be brought into a new relationship with God. Not as slaves but as sons (John 1:12+13).  Not as an alienated and sinful being, but as a child of God. (John 1:12+13; 1 John 3:1)

Now here is the point. If there be only one God, how could Jesus also be God? The answer is that Jesus was already apart of the one God (John 14:10+11) and was sent of God to do what God desired for the saving of all sinful mankind.  Jesus is God because of the process that God chose to use by which He came into the world, the process of Human birth.  For he did not come as an angel, or as a fully grown man formed out of thin air, even though God, the Creator could have also done those things.  God chose that Jesus would come as a little child born of a virgin woman without the aid of a human male.  Jesus came because:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."-John 3:16

Why? In order that Jesus might save mankind that was under the condemnation of the Law to a new life relationship with God through him, as their Father.  For under the Law of God could no one be saved, but by the mercy and grace of God through faith in Jesus, the Christ, anyone can be saved, if they have faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Now if Jesus was not God, there would be no cause for God, the Father to raise him up. If Jesus was not God then his body should still be in the tomb of Joseph Arimethia.  Since the tomb of Arimethia is still empty even to this day, it alone testifies of the divinity of Jesus, in that God, the Father raised him from the dead.  Here is the testimony of Jesus, the Christ concerning his own death and resurrection:

"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."-John 10:17+18

"Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify [him]: and the third day he shall rise again."-Matthew 20:18+19

The point is if Jesus knew that He would by crucified and on the third day after his death rise again, if he was just a man, why would he go through with it?  Because it is the purpose why he came: To save men from their sins.  In order to do that He had to die willingly.  Why? because the first Man, created in the image and likeness of God died after willingly disobeying  God's command, He died as a sinner. To legally nullify that act, Jesus had to die willingly in obedience to God's command. This is the commandment Jesus had received from His Father.  For The first Man, Adam,  brought sin into the world and contaminated mankind with it until the Redeemer, Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah came and brought righteousness back to mankind.  Not through the righteousness of works or by commandment, but through the righteousness of faith. (Romans 5:5-21) No mere man could do this, contaminated with sin, it had to be a man born without sin that could die for the sins of many.  Here enters Jesus, the Son of God, born of a virgin, Heir of the glorious things of God, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.  He alone is uncontaminated by sin, He alone willing dies for all of our sins, so that we all may have a chance to have a relationship with God, the Father.  That we too may have a chance to be saved, by reason  of His shed blood sealing forever our atonement.  A mere man's blood, contaminated with sin would have miserably failed in atoning for our sins, no matter how good he was.  Jesus, therefore was more than a mere man, Jesus was and is God manifested in the flesh.  Jesus is God.

This is what we say, that  Jesus is God because He is God's Son through natural childbirth. A process that God designed from the beginning of Human creation to procreate life.  Could God, the Creator made a body out of thin air and had Jesus cohabit it?  Yes He could have but, He did not chose to do it in any of those ways. Why? Because He promised that A virgin would have a Son and His name would be called Immanuel meaning: God is with us.  God keeps His promises. Thus showing once again that anything that is made of God is of God.  Jesus was born the Son of God.  If God did not do what He had promised to do, then God is a liar and can not be believed.  All of Christianity stands upon the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. If Jesus be the Son of God, then He is also God, for as stated anything that is a creation of God is of God. If Jesus is of God and the way he became of God was through natural child birth then He is God manifested in the flesh. So when he departs from the earth He was returning to the place God reserved for Him at His right hand of the Judgment throne of God  in Heaven. No man has ever seen God, but by His mercy, for a little while mankind witnessed God in the form of Man, live, speak and die for us all.  We all see him now, it is Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God.  Who told one of the disciples, You have seen me, you have seen the Father, after that disciple requested that the Father be revealed to them. (John 14:1-8) Jesus implied that He and the Father were the same.  Since the Father is God and Jesus is the same as the Father then Jesus is God with us. Immanuel, just as the prophet Isaiah foretold.

So what more evidence does anyone needs, they must pray to the Father to allow the truth of the revelation of Jesus be brought to them.  God, the Father will answer, for the Father will bear witness of His Son as His Son bore witness to Him.   For we have declared to the logical reasons to believe that Jesus is God. We have spoken about the prophets that proclaimed his birth before he was born. We have spoken about why God, the Creator chose natural childbirth as the process to bring Jesus into the world as His Son.  We have discussed the fact of the empty tomb of Joseph of Arimethia testifies of Jesus' divinity.  We have pointed out the improbability of anyone one else qualifying to be a sacrifice for our sins.  We touched upon the legality of God's actions to mankinds sinful plight.  We read Jesus' own testimony about His own death and resurrection and pointed out why He had to go through with it.  We discussed and pointed out that anything that is created by God is of God and Jesus is of God.  We spoke of Adam's contamination of Mankind and Gods remedy: Jesus.  We spoke about the limitation of the Law and how it was manipulated to send a innocent man to his death, but God who sees all and knows all  delivered that innocent man from death and raised him back to life.  Who was that man? Jesus.  We talked about the evidence that Jesus provided to prove who He was: the miracles He performed.   All he has asked and still is asking is people to believe His testimony and accept the Salvation he provides.  What will you do with the evidence? Some choose to not believe, some choose to believe, which are you?

The Power of the Blood of Jesus, the Christ

We who believe in Christ, believed we are saved not because we just confess that we believe. We believed because we became convinced of the hopelessness of our sinful condition and the quality of life that it brings forth. We became convinced that this sinful condition was an one way ticket to eternal damnation in the Lake of fire. We simply believed in the good news that God out of his great love for us, sent Jesus, his only begotten son to die for us. Our faith in the death of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God believe that He did it for us, who were lost eternally in our sinful condition. Jesus did it for us, he condemned sin in the flesh so that we may live free in the righteousness of God through him. Jesus did it through his own sinless blood.

The power of the blood answers the question of atonement for those believe in our present day. How about those in the past that did not have the opportunity to be cleansed by the blood? The blood was also shed for them. For after Jesus gave up the ghost and committed his life into the hands of his heavenly father God, moments later it is recorded in the Gospel record of Mathew that the graves of the righteous dead that believed in the coming messiah opened up and those who died appeared to all as they ascended to the heavenly Jerusalem. (Matthew 27:50-53) They must of believed in the coming atonement, provided by Christ. Or how else could they rise form the dead?

Does the power of the blood answer the question of atonement of future sins? It is well known that the blood of sheep and bulls only temporarily atoned for sins for a period of time. Jesus's blood, a blood so precious, sinless, divine could not only atone for all of mankind's sins in the past and the present but is available to atone for all any mans sins in the future. His sacrifice is the one and only sacrifice needed and has put an end to the endless slaughter of livestock which could never take away the sins of men permanently.(Hebrews 5:1-9, 10:11+12)

The Power of the Blood of Christ, puts away the need for works for justification, the need for deeds for righteousness and also the need for pureness of life for holiness. Meaning none of these things, a part from faith in the atoning death of Christ, are able to save a man from eternal damnation.(James 2:14-26)Contrariwise it allows a man to achieve them all thorough faith in the life and blood of Jesus. Through the shed blood of Jesus a soul achieves justification, through the blood a soul receives righteousness imputed, through the blood of Christ a soul is made holy. What a blessing! (Romans 3:21-4:1-5)

Can any deny the blood of Christ? I dare say yes to their own demise for they have sealed themselves up toward the last day. The day of judgement, where all men's sins are judged and condemned. Save for those who trusted in the blood of Christ, their sins are no more in the eyes of God. They are the scarcely saved, who have no works of righteousness to be rewarded. Just their souls redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. (1 Corinthians 3:10-15; 1 Peter 4:18)They enter into heaven all their sins paid for by Jesus.

So the question is, will you deny the power of the Blood of Christ on your eternal destination and go to the lake of fire where the devil and his demons await you to torment you for all eternity? Or Will you accept the Blood of Christ upon your soul today and receive heaven as your reward for doing? The Choice for eternity in heaven belongs to you.  God through Christ placed it in your hands whether you spend eternity with God in Heaven or you spend eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire.

This is what the Blood of Christ provided for you:  a choice, before His death there was no choice whatsoever.  When you died you died in your sins, not forgiven, not atoned for and you were held accountable for them at the throne of judgement.(Hebrews 9:27)  God at that point can not forgive you, He can not at that point of existence atone for your sins. Why not? You say? Can't God do anything.  Yes He can do anything, except go against what He has promised in the Bible.  He has promised those who do not repent and receive Jesus an eternity in Hell and in the Lake of fire.(John 3:36; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelations 1:18,20:13+14)  God will not lie, or go back on his own words or on whatsoever He has promised.  So when you get to the throne of God's judgment you better have your sins covered and atoned for. It is up to you.

How do I get my sins covered and atoned for? I am so glad you asked.  All you have to do is recite the following prayer with all your heart.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I, in Jesus' name,  come to you now as an repentant sinner. I confess all my sinfulness to You and ask You to forgive me, for Jesus' sake.  I believe that Jesus, Your only begotten Son, died for my all my sins and washed them away with His blood. I believe that You raised Jesus from the dead according to Your word, the Bible. I now invite Your Holy Spirit into my heart and make me Your child. I promise that I will strive to live Holy everyday with Your help and I thank you Lord for saving me.

If you have recited the prayer above.  Welcome to the Family of God! Your next step is finding a church that teaches the word of God and preaches the Gospel message.  Until you do, you can continue to follow the teachings I share here.

If you have not recited the prayer above, beware.  The wrath of God is upon your life now.  If God did not spare the Angels which disobeyed and left their estate in Heaven to follow after Satan and cast them out, what do you suppose will happen if you appear before the throne of judgment without your sins covered and atoned for?  Get smart, get saved.

The Authenticity of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, the Christ

There have been people who question that Jesus ever lived, died and even resurrected. Some have challenged the event as even occurred as it is proclaimed to have happened. Some people have made some statements that at first glance appear to be true. Impressing many to disbelieve it possibly to be true, reducing the testimony of the Death and Resurrection of Christ as a manipulative plot to control large amounts of people and mobilize them against that which is considered evil. If we believe this then this life that so many have chosen to live is a waste of time. So today we answer concerning the authenticity of the death and Resurrection of Christ.

The accusation that I have heard is that the Bible is a book written by man and therefore it is not divine. Our answer to this is that it is true that the Bible has many human authors but it being a book is a wrong perception of what it is. The Holy Bible is a compilation of several books that share a common theme, God's love for mankind and Mankind's relationship with God. What makes the Bible unique is not only its theme but also that it human authors were born at different times and wrote as inspired by God the things and the acts of God in, through and upon men. This separates this compilation from any other library in the world. Men have died preserving its writings over the ages because it tells us, who it is left to how the world began and how human life came to this earth. Eliminate the Bible and we are all left guessing about our origin. Some would have us to believe the theory of mankind's origin was something other what God has disclosed in the Bible. The bible does not speak in probabilities concerning the origin of human life, but the theories that men conjure up speak that way, because they are guessing. The Bible has stories of cultures and countries that do not exist any more in our day, but have been discovered through archaeological finds. Proving in each way that the stories of the Bible are factual and true. So the Bible is a library, set apart because it speaks to mankind's origin, and creation it explains historical events verified by Archeology through men inspired by a Divine creator.

It is in this library we find the testimony of four men, who is bearing witness to the death and Resurrection of a man call Jesus of Nazareth. This is very important because if the death and Resurrection was a fairy tale then these four witnesses could not agree on the death and resurrection ever occurring. What is astounding about these four witnesses that they were written at four different locations at four different times in four different perspectives for four different purposes. Which four men I speak of? Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The first Gospel composed was that of Mark. John Mark was an Evangelist and was under the observation of the Apostle Peter. Before Mark took the Gospel that now bears his name and preached to all those in Northern Africa, he composed it according to the dictation of the Apostle Peter. It is a brief Gospel so that someone could read it in a short period of time, it is full of the demonstration of the healing power of Jesus.

The next Gospel that was composed was done by Mathew, other wise known as Matthias in the Book of Acts, The Gospel that bears his name was written to answer the questions of Jesus' Jewish and kingly roots. It was written for the church at Jerusalem. The Kingdom of God theme and principles run throughout the record.

The Gospel of Luke came next, his gospel account was an research assignment for a Greek senator named Theophilus. His is the most accurate of all the Gospel records. Why? Well he had to be accurate, because that is what he was assigned to bring back to Rome. He interviewed Mary, the mother of Jesus, he compared the gospel records of Matthew and Mark and added additional testimonies of the disciples of James and John of the words and teachings of Christ. If he failed to bring an accurate report he was to be killed by the Romans, He also was in danger of his life because the unbelievers wanted to kill him for making the attempt to compile and write the gospel. Luke traveled with the Apostle Paul and wrote two reports the Gospel record that bears his name and the Book of the Acts of the Disciples, which is a historical record of the orgins of the universal church of Christ. Which all who believe in Christ are a part of.

The last Gospel was composed by John the Apostle of Christ, because there was a question of the divinity of Jesus that the other three Gospels did not address completely. All the other Gospels testified that Jesus was the Son of God, John Gospel explained why Jesus was the Son of God and why he came to us from God and why he had to die for us. He specifically wrote to promote faith in Jesus as the Son of God.

Now John, like Matthew were of the original Apostles of Christ, the other two were written by Believers who were told by the Disciples of Jesus. Now all four of the them recount the death and resurrection of Christ. All the Gospel records were written between AD 25 and AD 70 and were in full circulation in the church community. This makes the Gospel records the closest to being there when the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ, happened. Two of the Gospel authors seen it with their own eyes, two seen it through the testimony of those who were there when it happened. Here is the important part, they all died without regretting what they wrote and testified about. Not one of them wrote anything after they composed their Gospel accounts that they were making the whole thing up. They died for what they knew was fact.

This brings us to the actual event, which still lingers with us until this day. Why? Jesus did not want it to be forgotten. How do I know this? The communion that Jesus instituted at the Passover supper was an memorial to remember his death until he returns. To say that Jesus never died, would mean that we would not have to perform communion, because it would have been proven a fairy tale. Seeing that we have witnesses that died testifying of Jesus' death and his soon return throughout the ages that also performed the memorial act of the communion until this day, how can we say Jesus did not die on the cross and not then rise from the dead? Two direct witnesses of the four Gospel authors, who wrote about it, seen these two events with their own eyes. They seen Jesus Christ die,  they seen Christ risen from the dead and then they spent 40 days with Jesus, the Christ after his death just before he ascended into heaven. They died preaching what they knew to be fact.

Neither did Jesus not want us to forget that he died and rose again, for when at the communion table, instituting the memorial blessed the bread said to the disciples that were with him "take, eat, this is my body which is given up for you. Do this, in memory of me " after which he blessed the cup and said " take, drink, this is my blood which was shed for you. Do this in memory of me" After they had eaten the bread and drank of the cup Jesus said," I will not eat again and drink this fruit of the vine without until I come again and eat and drink anew with you in my kingdom..." He did this so that we would not forget that he indeed died and he indeed rise again from the dead, for if he did not do so, how would he return from that place which 500 saw him ascend to? No Jesus' death and resurrection is as authentic as the Bible and as real as the communion that is practiced by believers all over the world. So as many times we eat the bread and drink the fruit of the vine of communion. We proclaim the Lord's death and resurrection until he returns again.

Where is the Berean Bible Fellowship of NJ?

It has come to my attention that many people have come around looking for the BBFONJ in Clementon, NJ.     When they do not find the place in Clementon, they believe that it is a scam.  The BBFONJ  in Clementon NJ is right now a Online only Ministry.  I am seeking a place to base the ministry's  operation in the Southern Camden County Area, which covers a host of townships and boroughs.

Why haven't the BBFONJ found a place yet?  No financial support is one of the biggest reasons.  It takes money to build a Ministry and even though many people have enjoyed the teachings I have put forth through on the BBFONJ blog page: The Herald of Grace,  many people have not financially supported the ministry.  This is like ordering food at a restuarant, comsuming the meal and then not paying the bill, which no good and paying  person would do.  Many of us would pay before we eat anything that we ordered.  But when it comes to Bible teaching or preaching and  the responsibility of supporting the ministry, most of the time it is laid upon the shoulder of the Man of God that has blessed you with the teaching or message to raise financial support. Now we all know that is not right and it is the cause why many ministries do not succeed. If this Ministry has been a blessing to you in any degree, then you ought give it some financial support.

Another reason BBFONJ has not found a place yet is that the Lord hasn't open those doors yet.  BBFONJ  I agree that the BBFONJ has a long way to go in becoming an Educational Enrichment Center for the Christian Community.  But the opportunities are out there ready to be taken advantage of.  However, I will not, as its founder take chances that will doom the ministry financially, so I work toward the goal of wisely setting up what we see is a need in the South Jersey Area.

If you have any suggestions about the direction of BBFONJ as far as establishing a location so that people can come together and fellowship in the word of God feel free to email me at revcrsanchez856@gmail.com.
